URI: https://data.geoscience.fr/ncl/Proc/141
The CERCHAR hardness test is a microdrilling test, with an 8 mm diameter tungsten carbide drill bit, completed by a dihedral. Drill pitch is recorded as a function of time. The hardness of the sample is defined by the slope at the origin of the curve, expressed in second/centimetre.
