The water pressure test in rock, also called "Lugeon packer test"@en, is carried out in a borehole drilled into rock. fr L'essai de pression d'eau dasn les roches, aussi appelé essai Lugeon, est réalisé dans un forage dans le massif rocheux. Il est utilisé pour évaluer : les propriétés hydrauliques du massif rocheux, qui dépendent principalement des discontinuités, la capacité d'absorption du massif rocheux, l'étanchéité du massif rocheux, l'efficacité de l'injection de coulis, et le comportement géomécanique, par exemple fracturation et soulèvement hydrauliques.
