Entry: Mechanical cone penetration test
URI: https://data.geoscience.fr/ncl/Proc/87
The mechanical cone penetration test (CPTM) consists in pushing into the soil, at constant rate, a cone at the end of a telescopic rig. Along the penetration, measurements of the cone resistance and sleeve friction are recorded.
